A top price for Filipp Maliavin
The work Three Babas by Filipp Maliavin was sold in the Russian Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in November 2014. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 434,500.00 (€ 546,286.46), 55% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Three Babas the most expensive artwork by Filipp Maliavin that we have observed at auctions so far.
