Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Filipp Maliavin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2016. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work Merrymaking sold for GBP 56,250.00 (€ 67,518.36) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Filipp Maliavin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Three Babas in November 2014 with an auction result of GBP 434,500.00 (€ 546,286.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Filipp Maliavin erzielte im Juni 2016 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit Merrymaking für GBP 56.250,00 (€ 67.518,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Filipp Maliavin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Three Babas im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 434.500,00 (€ 546.286,46).
