However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Philip Akkerman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work (i) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 1990, nr. 17(ii) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 2000, nr. 40 (iii) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 2006, nr. 113, which sold at auction in October this year for EUR 10,710.00.

Die Arbeit 2001 Painting nr. 32 von Philip Akkerman kam im Juli 2010 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.060,68) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Für andere Arbeiten von Philip Akkerman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit (i) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 1990, nr. 17(ii) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 2000, nr. 40 (iii) Philip Akkerman, schilderij 2006, nr. 113 beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für EUR 10.710,00 versteigert wurde.
