Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Pyotr Belenok was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection auction at Sothebys in London in December 2021. The price achieved of GBP 12,600.00 (€ 15,029.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pyotr Belenok have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Moon Landscape in March 2008 with an auction result of GBP 54,500.00 (€ 68,465.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Pyotr Belenok wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.600,00 (€ 15.029,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pyotr Belenok auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Moon Landscape im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 54.500,00 (€ 68.465,52).
