Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Swimmer by Pyotr Belenok was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2008. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,600.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pyotr Belenok - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Moon Landscape, which sold at auction in March 2008 for GBP 54,500.00 (€ 68,465.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Swimmer von Pyotr Belenok kam im Juni 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 31.600,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Pyotr Belenok mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Moon Landscape beobachtet, die im März 2008 für GBP 54.500,00 (€ 68.465,52) versteigert wurde.
