Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Russian Untitled by Pyotr Belenok for USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,219.04). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pyotr Belenok achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Moon Landscape in March 2008 with an auction result of GBP 54,500.00 (€ 68,465.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Russian Untitled von Pyotr Belenok für USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.219,04) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Russian Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pyotr Belenok erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Moon Landscape im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 54.500,00 (€ 68.465,52).
