Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work (i) TKN105 11APR91 (ii) TKN3 29NOV93 by Peter Struycken for EUR 1,875.00. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Struycken achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Structuur Ii (Structure Ii) in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 31,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit (i) TKN105 11APR91 (ii) TKN3 29NOV93 von Peter Struycken für EUR 1.875,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Struycken erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Structuur Ii (Structure Ii) im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 31.250,00.
