In April 2013 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Wave 3 by Peter Struycken. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 9,375.00 34% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Struycken - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Structuur Ii (Structure Ii), which sold at auction in May 2019 for EUR 31,250.00.

Im April 2013 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wave 3 von Peter Struycken zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 9.375,00 und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Struycken mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Structuur Ii (Structure Ii) beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für EUR 31.250,00 versteigert wurde.
