Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art, which included the work whitebagbone, 1992-93 by Peter Shelton. Here, the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 10,200.00 (€ 9,680.17). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Shelton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Longarm, 1990-91, which sold at auction in September 2019 for USD 31,325.00 (€ 28,725.36).
