Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pensive Thoughts by Peter Samuelson was sold in the British, Continental & Russian Pictures auction at Christies in London in December 2007. The price achieved of GBP 375.00 (€ 509.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Samuelson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work John in January 2008 with an auction result of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 12,567.59).

Die Arbeit Pensive Thoughts von Peter Samuelson wurde im Dezember 2007 in der Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 375,00 (€ 509,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Samuelson erzielen.
