In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Male Figure In Profile sold for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,843.25) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Admittedly, works by Peter Samuelson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work John in January 2008 with an auction result of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 12,567.59).
