This artwork by Peter Samuelson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in January 2008. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Male Figure In Profile sold for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,843.25) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Admittedly, works by Peter Samuelson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work John in January 2008 with an auction result of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 12,567.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Peter Samuelson erzielte im Januar 2008 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wurde die Arbeit Male Figure In Profile für GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.843,25) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Samuelson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit John im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 12.567,59).
