This artwork by Peter Samuelson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2007. In the British, Continental & Russian Pictures auction, the work Cidy, A German sold for GBP 875.00 (€ 1,188.98) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Samuelson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work John in January 2008 with an auction result of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 12,567.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Peter Samuelson erzielte im Dezember 2007 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit Cidy, A German für GBP 875,00 (€ 1.188,98) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Samuelson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit John im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 12.567,59).
