Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Peter Saari was sold in the The House Sale auction at Christies in New York in January 2007. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,680.00 (€ 1,292.51) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Peter Saari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Large Pink Wall with Frieze in June 2003 with an auction result of EUR 8,225.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Peter Saari wurde im Januar 2007 in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.680,00 (€ 1.292,51) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Saari auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Large Pink Wall with Frieze im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.225,00.
