Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Peter Rose Pulham could be acquired at Phillips in London in May 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Collection of Corbeau et Renard auction, the work Selected Artist’s portraits, including Graham Sutherland, André Derain and Julien Trevelyan changed hands for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,385.08) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Peter Rose Pulham have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grisaille Figures I in February 2016 with an auction result of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 16,017.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Peter Rose Pulham konnte im Mai 2008 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Collection of Corbeau et Renard wechselte die Arbeit Selected Artist’s portraits, including Graham Sutherland, André Derain and Julien Trevelyan für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.385,08) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Rose Pulham auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Grisaille Figures I im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 16.017,21).
