This artwork by Peter Rose Pulham achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2006. In the The Poetry of Crisis; The Peter Nahum Collection of British Surrealist and Avant-Garde Art 1930-1951 auction, the work Nocturne sold for GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,801.21) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Peter Rose Pulham; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Grisaille Figures I sold at auction in February 2016 with the realized price of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 16,017.21).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Peter Rose Pulham erzielte im November 2006 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Poetry of Crisis; The Peter Nahum Collection of British Surrealist and Avant-Garde Art 1930-1951 wurde die Arbeit Nocturne für GBP 6.600,00 (€ 9.801,21) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00.
