Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Man with his face in his hands by Peter Peri was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in March 2004. The price achieved of GBP 478.00 (€ 715.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Peter Peri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Senza titolo (Large Circles) in June last year with an auction result of EUR 6,300.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 478,00 (€ 715,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Peri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Senza titolo (Large Circles) im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.300,00.
