Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Peter Peri achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2019. In the Handpicked: 50 works selected by the Saatchi Collection - Online Only auction, the work Infanta sold for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,077.93) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Peter Peri; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Senza titolo (Large Circles) sold at auction in June last year with the realized price of EUR 6,300.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Peter Peri erzielte im März 2019 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Handpicked: 50 works selected by the Saatchi Collection - Online Only wurde die Arbeit Infanta für GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.077,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Peter Peri; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Senza titolo (Large Circles) im Juni letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 6.300,00.
