In October this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Modern art and design, which included the work “U. T.” by Peter Mandrup. The result of DKK 6,000.00 (€ 803.94) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Mandrup - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled, 1991, which sold at auction in January 2024 for DKK 3,400.00 (€ 2,971.51).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Modern art and design durch, in der auch die Arbeit “U. T.” von Peter Mandrup zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 6.000,00 (€ 803,94) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Mandrup mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled, 1991 beobachtet, die im Januar 2024 für DKK 3.400,00 (€ 2.971,51) versteigert wurde.
