Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Peter Mandrup could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern art and design auction, the work Six compositioner in three frames changed hands for DKK 2,500.00 (€ 334.97) - just shy of the DKK 5,000.00 estimate. Admittedly, works by Peter Mandrup have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled, 1991 in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 3,400.00 (€ 2,971.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Peter Mandrup konnte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern art and design wechselte die Arbeit Six compositioner in three frames für DKK 2.500,00 (€ 334,97) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Mandrup auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled, 1991 im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 3.400,00 (€ 2.971,51).
