Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Two compositions by Peter Mandrup was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 2,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 1,600.00 (€ 214.63). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Mandrup achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled, 1991 in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 3,400.00 (€ 2,971.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Two compositions von Peter Mandrup im August diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 2.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 1.600,00 (€ 214,63) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Mandrup erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled, 1991 im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 3.400,00 (€ 2.971,51).
