Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Peter Lindbergh achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in New York in August last year. In the PhotographsSummer Cut auction, the work Divers, University of Miami sold for USD 4,080.00 (€ 4,053.65) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Lindbergh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Christy Turlington, Los Angeles, American Vogue, 1988 in May 2017 with an auction result of GBP 185,000.00 (€ 212,479.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Peter Lindbergh erzielte im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion PhotographsSummer Cut wurde die Arbeit Divers, University of Miami für USD 4.080,00 (€ 4.053,65) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Lindbergh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Christy Turlington, Los Angeles, American Vogue, 1988 im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 185.000,00 (€ 212.479,98).
