Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Reading at the Wall by László Péri for GBP 375.00 (€ 440.34). This price was achieved in the auction Outside In: The Dr. Jeffrey Sherwin Collection at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by László Péri - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Design for Mural, which sold at auction in November 2019 for GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,174.24).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Reading at the Wall von László Péri für GBP 375,00 (€ 440,34) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Outside In: The Dr. Jeffrey Sherwin Collection bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von László Péri mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Design for Mural beobachtet, die im November 2019 für GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.174,24) versteigert wurde.
