Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Water, Surprisingly Cool by Peter J. Bailey was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,600.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Peter J. Bailey have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2006 the work Arabians was auctioned for GBP 1,320.00 (€ 1,891.32).

Die Arbeit Water, Surprisingly Cool von Peter J. Bailey kam im Juni 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.080,00 (€ 1.600,63) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Peter J. Bailey konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2006 die Arbeit Arabians für GBP 1.320,00 (€ 1.891,32) versteigert.
