This artwork by Peter J. Bailey achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2006. In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work Fresh And Responsive sold for GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,547.45) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 600.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Peter J. Bailey; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Arabians sold at auction in March 2006 with the realized price of GBP 1,320.00 (€ 1,891.32).

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Peter J. Bailey; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Arabians im März 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 1.320,00 (€ 1.891,32).
