Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Navajo Reservation Desert Project Paracutin by Peter Hutchinson for USD 625.00 (€ 421.13). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Hutchinson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Continental Divide in April 2015 with an auction result of EUR 4,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Navajo Reservation Desert Project Paracutin von Peter Hutchinson für USD 625,00 (€ 421,13) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Hutchinson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Continental Divide im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.750,00.
