Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Beach Zebra by Peter Hutchinson for USD 250.00 (€ 158.18). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Hutchinson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Continental Divide in April 2015 with an auction result of EUR 4,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Beach Zebra von Peter Hutchinson für USD 250,00 (€ 158,18) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Hutchinson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Continental Divide im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.750,00.
