Auction result well in line with expectations
The work As sunshine cleareth mist away by Peter Graham was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2003. The price achieved of GBP 4,700.00 (€ 6,808.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Peter Graham have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sea worn rocks in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 26,400.00 (€ 39,443.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit As sunshine cleareth mist away von Peter Graham kam im März 2003 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.700,00 (€ 6.808,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Graham auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sea worn rocks im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.400,00 (€ 39.443,95).
