Auction result well in line with expectations
The work In Situ - 2013 by Peter Downsbrough was sold in the Limited Edition auction at Artcurial in May 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,600.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Peter Downsbrough have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2021 the work NYC, „07 – 26“. was auctioned for EUR 3,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit In Situ - 2013 von Peter Downsbrough wurde im Mai 2014 in der Auktion Limited Edition bei Artcurial versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.600,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Peter Downsbrough konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2021 die Arbeit NYC, „07 – 26“. für EUR 3.750,00 versteigert.
