It achieved a price of GBP 13,860.00 (€ 16,253.72), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Other works by Peter de Wint have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 20,315.00 (€ 31,114.73) in January 2003 for the work Two boys with a donkey.
