In November this year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work The Quirang, Skye by Peter Coker. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,480.00 (€ 5,191.35), 49% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Coker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Promenade, Etretat, which sold at auction in March 2000 for GBP 8,280.00 (€ 13,770.02).
