Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Dewley Fell near Alston by Peter Coker was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2011. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,729.86). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Coker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Promenade, Etretat, which sold at auction in March 2000 for GBP 8,280.00 (€ 13,770.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Dewley Fell near Alston von Peter Coker kam im Juli 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.729,86) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Coker mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Promenade, Etretat beobachtet, die im März 2000 für GBP 8.280,00 (€ 13.770,02) versteigert wurde.
