Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work Autumn - Cornfield (Two Setters) by Percival Leonard Rosseau. Here, the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 37,500.00 (€ 27,036.77). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Percival Leonard Rosseau - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Two Setters In A Cooling Stream On The Grounds Of Overhills, Fayetteville, North Carolina, which sold at auction in October 2015 for USD 85,000.00 (€ 76,978.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
