Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2013 Christies in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work A Grey Day by Percival Leonard Rosseau. The price achieved of USD 47,500.00 (€ 36,317.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Percival Leonard Rosseau - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Two Setters In A Cooling Stream On The Grounds Of Overhills, Fayetteville, North Carolina, which sold at auction in October 2015 for USD 85,000.00 (€ 76,978.81).
