In September 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work A Brace Of Setters by Percival Leonard Rosseau. The price achieved of USD 21,420.00 (€ 18,279.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Percival Leonard Rosseau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Two Setters In A Cooling Stream On The Grounds Of Overhills, Fayetteville, North Carolina in October 2015 with an auction result of USD 85,000.00 (€ 76,978.81).
