A top price for Penry Williams - as previously expected
The work Mass for the Reapers by Penry Williams was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2000. The price achieved of GBP 16,450.00 (€ 26,075.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Mass for the Reapers is the most expensive artwork by Penry Williams that we have observed at auctions so far.
