The price achieved of EUR 1,645.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,400.00 – 2,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Penry Williams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mass for the Reapers in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 16,450.00 (€ 26,075.28).
