This artwork by Pelle Swedlund achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in June this year. In the Important Spring Sale auction, the work Ship in the distance sold for SEK 22,000.00 (€ 1,867.58) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pelle Swedlund - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Coastline, Visby, which sold at auction in July last year for GBP 5,040.00 (€ 6,018.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 83 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pelle Swedlund erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Spring Sale wurde die Arbeit Ship in the distance für SEK 22.000,00 (€ 1.867,58) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pelle Swedlund mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Coastline, Visby beobachtet, die im Juli letzten Jahres für GBP 5.040,00 (€ 6.018,66) versteigert wurde.
