In July last year Christies in London held the auction The Isabel Goldsmith Collection: Selected Pre-Raphaelite and Symbolist Art, which included the work Coastline, Visby by Pelle Swedlund. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,040.00 (€ 6,018.66), 68% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Coastline, Visby the most expensive artwork by Pelle Swedlund that we have observed at auctions so far.
