Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Roses, carnations, a tulip and other flowers in a vase on a ledge by Pedro de Camprobín was sold in the Old Master Paintings and Sculpture: Part II auction at Christies in New York in January 2024. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 20,160.00 (€ 17,619.30) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pedro de Camprobín achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chestnuts on a silver dish, a façon-de-Venise glass filled with preserved chestnuts, a bottle and a tin bowl filled with wine on a table ledge; and Assorted sweetmeats on a silver-gilt tazza, carnations and jasmine in a small vase, and an earthenwar in July 2002 with an auction result of GBP 1,601,650.00 (€ 2
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Roses, carnations, a tulip and other flowers in a vase on a ledge von Pedro de Camprobín wurde im Januar 2024 in der Auktion Old Master Paintings and Sculpture: Part II bei Christies in New York versteigert. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chestnuts on a silver dish, a façon-de-Venise glass filled with preserved chestnuts, a bottle and a tin bowl filled with wine on a table ledge; and Assorted sweetmeats on a silver-gilt tazza, carnations and jasmine in a small vase, and an earthenwar im Juli 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.601.650,00 (€ 2.554
