Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life Of Iris, Lilies, Roses And Carnations In Elaborate Urn, With A Blue And White Cup And A Small Glass Vase, Landscapes Beyond: A Pair by Pedro de Camprobín was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in February 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 62,500.00 (€ 47,786.53) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pedro de Camprobín achieve.
