Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Pedro Coronel was sold in the Latin American Sale auction at Christies in New York in November 2010. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 14,383.25) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pedro Coronel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Año 1 luna in March this year with an auction result of USD 693,000.00 (€ 637,417.22).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Pedro Coronel wurde im November 2010 in der Auktion Latin American Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 14.383,25) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pedro Coronel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Año 1 luna im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 693.000,00 (€ 637.417,22).
