Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Composición en azul y verde) by Pedro Coronel was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2018. Here, the upper estimate of USD 220,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 225,000.00 (€ 192,802.06). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pedro Coronel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Año 1 luna, which sold at auction in March this year for USD 693,000.00 (€ 637,417.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Composición en azul y verde) von Pedro Coronel kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 220.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 225.000,00 (€ 192.802,06) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Pedro Coronel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Año 1 luna beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für USD 693.000,00 (€ 637.417,22) versteigert wurde.
