Auction result well in line with expectations
The work P.D. 661 - 1965-66 by Pavlos was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in June this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 32,800.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pavlos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greek Champ (Field), which sold at auction in April 2008 for GBP 90,500.00 (€ 115,374.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit P.D. 661 - 1965-66 von Pavlos wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 32.800,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pavlos mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Greek Champ (Field) beobachtet, die im April 2008 für GBP 90.500,00 (€ 115.374,71) versteigert wurde.
