Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Manteau et chapeau 123 x 36.5 x 5.3cm (48 7/16 x 14 3/8 x 2 1/16in) et by Pavlos. The price achieved of EUR 15,300.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pavlos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greek Champ (Field) in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 90,500.00 (€ 115,374.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Manteau et chapeau 123 x 36.5 x 5.3cm (48 7/16 x 14 3/8 x 2 1/16in) et von Pavlos zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 15.300,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pavlos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greek Champ (Field) im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 90.500,00 (€ 115.374,71).
