Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Cravates by Pavlos was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in May this year. It achieved a price of EUR 10,837.50 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pavlos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek Champ (Field) in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 90,500.00 (€ 115,374.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Cravates von Pavlos wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 10.837,50 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pavlos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greek Champ (Field) im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 90.500,00 (€ 115.374,71).
