Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sans toi by Pavlos Samios was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in November 2021. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 10,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pavlos Samios - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greek ecstasy, which sold at auction in May 2011 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,587.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sans toi von Pavlos Samios kam im November 2021 bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 10.200,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Pavlos Samios mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Greek ecstasy beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.587,58) versteigert wurde.
