Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2021 Bonhams in Paris held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Femmes nues allongées by Pavlos Samios. The price achieved of EUR 12,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pavlos Samios - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greek ecstasy, which sold at auction in May 2011 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,587.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2021 führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Femmes nues allongées von Pavlos Samios zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Pavlos Samios mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Greek ecstasy beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.587,58) versteigert wurde.
