Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Dimanche matin by Pavlos Samios was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Bonhams in Paris in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 12,160.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pavlos Samios - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greek ecstasy, which sold at auction in May 2011 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,587.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Dimanche matin von Pavlos Samios wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 12.160,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Pavlos Samios mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Greek ecstasy beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.587,58) versteigert wurde.
