Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work Sochi by Pavel Varfolomeevich Kuznetsov. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 85,250.00 (€ 106,217.75), 22% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pavel Varfolomeevich Kuznetsov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life With Carafe, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 288,500.00 (€ 403,974.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sochi von Pavel Varfolomeevich Kuznetsov zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 85.250,00 (€ 106.217,75) und damit 22% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Pavel Varfolomeevich Kuznetsov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life With Carafe beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 288.500,00 (€ 403.974,64) versteigert wurde.
