Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mount Beshtau, Essentuki by Pavel Varfolomeevich Kuznetsov was sold in the Russian Pictures Including Works on Paper by Natalia Goncharova and Mikhail Larionov auction at Sothebys in London in December 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 106,250.00 (€ 144,282.39) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pavel Varfolomeevich Kuznetsov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life With Carafe, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 288,500.00 (€ 403,974.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mount Beshtau, Essentuki von Pavel Varfolomeevich Kuznetsov wurde im Dezember 2015 in der Auktion Russian Pictures Including Works on Paper by Natalia Goncharova and Mikhail Larionov bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 106.250,00 (€ 144.282,39) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
